The Best Non-surgical facelift treatment for you

Submitted by admin on October 18, 2019

The advantages that non-surgical facelift treatment offers are quite amazing. With ever-evolving treatment and techniques, the result that these treatments offer is all the more natural and satisfying. It helps create a seamless lift and add volume to the face and neck and restores a more youthful appearance without scar visibility. The processes we are talking about in this blog may be used in other areas of the body as well. The non-surgical facelift treatments provided by Gail Humble, M.D are known to be very effective and require minimal or no downtime. Here are the three most popular non-surgical facelift treatments that people are choosing in order to restore their youthful appearance.

Liquid Facelift

Think of a youthful face, and you’ll most likely picture a face with full, rounded cheeks and convex contours. That’s because fat plays a large part in filling out the skin and keeps our faces looking smooth and youthful. Of course, loss of fat is not the only factor in the equation. There is also a loss of bone and flattening of the facial muscle that accompanies the aging process. All of this adds up to an overall decrease in facial fullness and can equate to a loss of 5cc’s of total volume loss from our faces each year after 40. But there are amazing non-surgical solutions available to our patients today to combat the aging process. A liquid facelift is the lifting, plumping, filling, smoothing, and/or re-contouring of the face through the use of liquid fillers such as Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse, Juvederm, Voluma, Artefill, and Sculptra. These products are produced in different ways using different materials, and their specific applications vary somewhat, too. As part of the overall procedure, these products are often used in conjunction with each other and in addition to a Neurotoxin. The use of a neurotoxin in addition to dermal fillers can reduce the formation of new wrinkles. Neurotoxins block the nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions. When injected into specific areas, it effectively relaxes the muscles that are responsible for making certain facial expressions; these repeated facial expressions contribute to the breakdown of collagen in certain areas, leading to deep creases and expression lines. For these patients that want a permanent treatment, we offer Renuva which is cadaveric fat. This is an injection that acts as a matrix and allows the areas to be repopulated with the patient’s own fat. The results are permanent and completely natural. We also use this therapy quite often in hands and other areas of the body where there are fat deficits. The original term of a liquid facelift was coined from an interview of Dr. Humble with channel 4 news. It has evolved over time and may involve layering different fillers for more beneficial and longer-acting effects.

Threadlift

Silhouette InstaLift™ is a state-of-the-art suspension suture which offers both women and men a dual benefit of immediate facial lifting and volumization without the unwanted challenges of traditional surgery. The Silhouette Instalift is touted as the “30-minute lunchtime facelift” and FDA-approved in April 2015 for use in the mid-face, this minimally invasive approach uses absorbable sutures with tiny bi-directional cones to lift and suspend the deeper layers of the skin. The suture and cone material are both made of glycolide and Poly-L-lactide (PLGA). An added bonus of this approach is that as the small cones slowly dissolve over time, the tissue heals around them, stimulating collagen production, which makes the skin firmer and thicker. Even better, the results can be seen instantly, although the final results are seen at 6 months. Dr. Humble is a trainer and her office serves as a silhouette training facility center for the company. Dr. Humble often combine this therapy with PDO threads to build more collagen.

PRP Facelift

PRP facelift is a non-surgical facelift treatment that helps to rejuvenate and, in some cases, re-volumize the face. The procedure is carried out by isolating the platelet-rich plasma from one’s own blood. Then using micro-needling, a laser or direct injection the PRP is placed in the area to be rejuvenated. Growth factors are released from the platelets that then rejuvenate the skin. This can be done as often as once a month for hair rejuvenation, or once a quarter for the face. These growth factors bring new vascularity to the area and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which helps regenerate the skin and the hair. These non- surgical facelift treatments may be used in conjunction, and are available to help restore a more youthful and natural appearance. Dr. Humble had one of the first purely nonsurgical cosmetic specialties. She has authored many research articles on the aging face. She is committed to helping her patients feel and look their best.
